In a remarkable demonstration of compassion and commitment to education, Amaraya Foundation Outreach Team on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, visited selected schools across Mbaise to offset the school fees of indigent students benefiting from the Foundation’s scholarship programme.

The outreach team, led by Mrs. Paschaline Egbukichi, began its humanitarian mission at Mary Sumner Juniorate, Okpofe, an institution owned by the Anglican Church. At the school, the team presented a cheque of ₦90,000 to cover all outstanding school fees and charges for Miss Rejoice Kaonyeuloaso, a beneficiary of the Foundation’s scholarship scheme. The cheque was formally handed over to the School Principal, as the student was unavoidably absent due to her participation in her father’s burial rites.

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, the Principal commended the Amaraya Foundation for its generosity and prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, and expansion of the Foundation’s philanthropic activities. She further prayed that the Foundation would be strengthened to extend its benevolence to even more students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The team thereafter proceeded to Mater Christi Nursery and Primary School, Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise, where two siblings, Anthony Munachi Ahanonu and Imelda Ahanonu, are beneficiaries of the Foundation’s scholarship programme. Following brief formal introductions, the outreach team presented the sum of ₦40,000, representing the total school fees for the two pupils.

In her response, the School Principal expressed profound gratitude to the Amaraya Foundation for the thoughtful intervention, praying that God would continue to sustain and empower the Foundation to touch many more lives.

The final stop of the outreach was at Stella Giordano Orphanage Home, Umumbiri Ekwerazu, where the Foundation extended its benevolence to Nicole Ifechimadika, an orphan under the care of the home. The outreach team presented ₦30,000 to support the child’s educational needs.

Receiving the support on behalf of the orphanage, Rev. Sr. Perpetua Ijezie thanked the Amaraya Foundation for its kindness and prayed that God would richly bless the Foundation and enable it to continue reaching out to orphans and other vulnerable members of society.

The outreach programme was attended by the Coordinator, Mrs. Paschaline Egbukichi, the Assistant Finance Administrator, Mr. Vitus Nwogu, and a member of the Amaraya Foundation Media Team, Mr. Maduka Uwa.

The initiative once again reflects the humanitarian vision of the Founder of the Foundation, High Chief Amarachi Kingsley Ogu (Ugwu Mbaise I of Mbaise, Aririerimba I of Lude Ahiara) whose unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged continues to inspire hope across communities. Indeed, to God be all the glory.

Amaraya Foundation… touching lives.
