Amaraya Foundation, on Saturday 18th October 2025 held the Championship examination for the 5th Edition of All Mbaise Senior Secondary Schools Mathematics Competition (AMSSSMC 2025) at Mother Mary Coleman Memorial Girls, Secondary School Ogbor Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State.
After a thorough accreditation, the examination started by 11am with an opening prayer said by the Music Director of the Foundation, Rev Fr Efechi Marizu after which Amaraya Anthem was taken.
Thirty- Seven (37) candidates who scaled through the elimination stage participated in this Championship examination. The Three (3) hours intensive exam ended by 2:10pm. Light refreshments and memorabilia were give to all participants and stakeholders present. Rev. Sr. Dr. Chinenyenwa Ukaegbu in the closing prayer thanked God for a successful outing and continued provision for the Foundation.
Speaking after examination, the Director of Administration of the Foundation, Mr. K.C Onyewuenyi expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise. He thanked the members of the Foundation who invigilated the exam for their commitment to duty and praised the the participants for their zeal and comportment in both stages of the competition and wished them well in all their dreams and life aspirations. He also thanked all the stakeholders, school Proprietors and Principals, Teachers and Parents for their continuous support and encouragement.
Mr Onyewuenyi equally extolled the President of AMARAYA FOUNDATION, Chief Amarachi Kingsley Ogu (Ugwu Mbaise I of Mbaise) for funding this life-transforming program which is helping in forging future leaders of our society.
In separate interviews, the participants, parents and teachers expressed satisfaction with the transparency of the exercise and reeled how the competition has spurred them towards making greater impact in the society. They praised Amaraya Foundation for providing a great platform for leaders of tomorrow to grow academically and prayed God to continue to strengthen the Humanitarian organization. They equally called on government, global donors agencies and good spirited individuals to support Amaraya Foundation in her mission of touching lives and enhancing our society.
In line with the Foundation’s policy on transparency and accountability, Mathematics teachers in attendance did coordination and marked the scripts immediately after the examination at the same venue.
The examiners recorded the scores and handed over the documents to the Director of Administration who received same on behalf of the Director General of the Foundation, Dr. Kelechi C. Oguamanam. Receiving the results, the Director of Administration thanked God for making the exercise a huge success and announced that the results will be officially released on our Website www. amarayafoundation.org and platforms within ONE week. He also announced the Grand Finale/Award Ceremony will hold on 23rd December 2025 at Chris VI Hotels & Resorts Ahiara Mbaise and invited all the participants, parents and teachers to the impactful event.
High points of the event were refreshment galore and distribution of souvenirs to all participants as a mark of appreciation by the Foundation.
