CEO OF AMARAYA FOUNDATION CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY IN A GRAND STYLE

On Tuesday 2nd July, 2024, people from different parts of the world celebrated the amiable and indefatigable CEO of Amaraya Foundation, Comr Amarachi Kingsley Ogu (Ugwumba I of Mbaise) as he marked his birthday.

The birthday celebration started in the morning with a brief ceremony at Community Primary School Lude where the celebrant is currently renovating classroom blocks for sound learning and academic excellence. At the primary school field, dignitaries gathered to honour the great philanthropist for his numerous works of charity. The headmistress of the School, Mrs Eunice Ukah led her teachers and enthusiastic pupils to the event.

After the opening prayer by the Music Director of the Foundation, Rev Fr Efechi Marizu, the recitation of Amaraya Foundation Anthem and Amaraya songs followed.

In his opening remarks, the Director General of Amaraya Foundation, Dr Kelechi Oguamanam thanked God for the life of the CEO of the Foundation, Comr Amarachi Ogu and prayed for many years of good health and prosperity. He introduced Amaraya Foundation and her vision for a better society. He loudly acknowledged the support of various partners like Abro, Linlong and many others since the divine journey started.

The Director General and other members of the Foundation later joined hands with the Headmistress, teachers and pupils of the school to cut the birthday cake. There were goodwill messages from the Headmistress, teachers and pupils after which the anchor of the event, Prince Chuks Peters started a jubilation galore.

The Chairman of the Primary School Renovation Committee, Koké Brutus Alozie, the committee members the Contractor, Arc Uzochukwu Chileke later led the Director General, the Headmistress, teachers, pupils and guests to inspect the ongoing renovation works at the primary school classroom blocks. The Contractor assured that the project would be completed and delivered before the end of the year and this attracted a resounding ovation from the highly elated Headmistress and teachers.

The Director General later held a press conference after which the Chairman of the Committee, Contractor, Headmistress and some pupils granted interviews to pressmen.

The second phase of the birthday celebration was the visitation to 7 hospitals in Mbaise and payment of hospital bills of 17 indigent patients. The Hospitals visited include: Nnarambia Health Centre, Cecilia Memorial Hospital Ogbe Ahiara, Crown Medical Centre Nnarambia Ahiara, Holy Rosary Hospital Ogbor Nguru, Ndubuisi Hospital Ezuhu Nguru, Majesty Hospital Eke Nguru and Ancilla Hospital Ihitte. The beneficiaries amidst tears of joy, thanked the CEO of AMARAYA FOUNDATION for coming to their rescue and prayed the ever merciful Lord to continue to bless him in all facets of life. The Management of the Health facilities equally extolled the CEO for his large heart and prayed God to continue to equip him with bountiful blessings for greater service to humanity.

The Amaraya outreach team later retired to Amaraya Foundation Secretariat where the CEO empowered 6 of his Secondary School classmates (ASSAM CLASS OF 1996) with 1.2million Naira and Android phones. N100,000 was also given for the upkeep of another classmate with mental health issues. The beneficiaries who couldn’t hide their joy profusely thanked their former classmate who was their former SENIOR PREFECT for remembering them at their low moments and prayed God to continue to steer his Ship beyond his dreams.

The CEO also splashed N400,000 empowerment package on four indigent persons to improve their living conditions. The beneficiaries thanked the CEO for his milk of human kindness and prayed God to continue to bless him and his family.

Finally, members of the Foundation’s outreach team opened a refreshment galore after which the outing ended with Amaraya Anthem and songs.
